Calendula and Comfrey Salve

This salve is designed to deeply moisturize and tend to dry, sensitive skin. Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is a bright and sunny flower, native to the medeterarrian region, egypt and southern eruope, and has become a garden favourite all over the world. She is useful to us as a healer in many ways, but for skin issues she really shines - having been used for generations to heal wounds, bruises, soften skin she is a time proven remedy. Calendula is an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral.

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is a perennial flower who grows in groups naturally next to rivers and in grasslands. Her flowers are blue and very attractive to bees and other pollinators. Being native to europe and asia and naturalized in north america, this plant can have a tendancy to take over, so plant with caution. This plant is best known for how incredibly well it heals tissue and reduces pain.

Handcrafted in small batches using local (where possible) herbs and beeswax this salve can be used all over the body, and is truly helpful for hands and feet. Comes in 2oz metal tins and can be scented with peppermint, orange, cinnamon or left unscented.
